On the day of the appointment you can expect the following:

1. We will start the thread lift procedure with the careful cleansing and disinfecting of the face to ensure that no bacteria is left on the surface of the skin. Hair must always be tied back and out of the way.

2. Dr. Bector will then mark the face using a surgical marker to map the thread entry and exit points.

3. We will administer a local anesthetic, only to the points of the face where the sutures are being injected or pulled out.

4. The threads will be inserted, positioned, pulled and locked into place to lift and tighten sagging skin.

5. Your face will be cleansed again, we will answer any questions that you may have and also complete our clinical pictures for your client chart.

6. We will share our post care material with you and will also schedule you in for your followup appointment.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANCHORING THREADS AND PDO THREADS

Anchoring Threads - Silhouette Soft: These threads use cone shaped beads and are used to gather, lift and reposition the skin to create a tightening, youthful, refreshed appearance. The PLLA threads and beads (Poly-L-Lactic sutures) also stimulate the producing of Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid and Elastin that improves both the hydration and firmness of the skin.
